Logging Into the Classroom

To login to the classroom, begin by clicking the button below. This will take you to the virtual classroom. Next, click on "Visit Learner Portal", then using the same login as previous classes, you can sign in. If you are a new student (or a reminder to returning students), your username is your email address you used to register for the class. The default password will be your firstnamelastname (all lower case, no spaces). If you are a returning student and registered using a different email address than the one you used last year, you will need to log in with the new email. Your old class will still be attached to your old email, and you will need to contact us to merge the two accounts.

Once you enter the virtual classroom, take some time to explore and familiarize yourself with the layout. There are many resources available to support your success, so be sure to review the information page carefully. Each week will typically include participation activities, homework or assignments, and a live virtual session called Big Blue Button (BBB). Be sure to check for details on when your BBB session is scheduled. We encourage you to log in early and often to get comfortable with the platform. Pay close attention to deadlines, begin reading your textbooks, and start working on your worksheets and assignments. New lectures and assignments will be introduced each week, so staying engaged will help you stay on track.
